From Ricardo Batista :Pop-Up Zapper is a shareware application for Mac OS X that helps you by "zapping" away those annoying popup windows when you surf the web.
Pop-Up Zapper watches the work of your web browser and when it identifies a pop up window (or pop-under) it makes it invisible to you and then closes it. Occasionally you may see a window flash really fast before it is zapped. You can look at Pop-Up Zapper's counter on its Dock icon to see that it is working. Pop-Up Zapper 2.0 makes popup windows invisible to you and it requires Internet Explorer. Play a user or system sound when a window is zapped. You can add your own zap or allow locations.
What's new in this version:
- Better handling of the contextual menu for selecting Open Link In New Window to prevent zapping a good window. We allow 4 seconds for the window.
- Minor changes to context menu text.
- If the software is registered, remove the purchase menu options to prevent confusion.
- Reset the trial date.
