From PolderbitS Software :The Polderbits Sound Recorder and Editor is specially designed to digitize recordings of music cassettes, LPs, or videos. These formats can be recorded on CD with the help of your CD-R drive and software. Everything is controlled from within two windows: The Recorder window, where you select the sound source, set the recording volume, and start recording; and the Editor window, where you can split a long recording into multiple tracks and trim the start and end of the tracks or use the fade-in and fade-out functions. There is a two-week trial period, during which the program is fully functional.
