Version: Plato DVD to MP3 Ripper 10.08.02
Pros: Program works pretty simply.
Cons: Both the current version 10.08.02 and an earlier version did not create MP3 files with the same audio quality as the DVD. Sounded brash as if speaker was turned up too loud.
Summary: Forget Plato. Buy iSofter DVD to MP3 (www.isofter.com) for $29.95. Try both trial downloads and you'll see what I mean.

Version: Plato DVD to MP3 Ripper 10.08.02
"Wouldn't even begin to work, for any copy-protected DVD"
Pros: Nothing, trial was a complete failure.
Cons: Everything, a total waste of time
Summary: Don't bother (perhaps use DVD Decrypter, then convert vob's to avi's with Dr. DivX, then take mp3's from avi's & split if/as necessary). Whatever happened to fair use...??!
