From the developer: "Picker reads a scanned graph in GIF format, allows you to specify axes, and takes data points. The data points are transformed to the specified axes system and can be saved as ASCII data. This is useful for for extracting data values from scientific publications. It is written in Java 1.3 using a Swing GUI. It is distributed under the GNU Public License."
