This updater file fixes a number of problems discovered after Photoshop 7.0 was released. With this updater installed, type layers will no longer rasterized unnecessarily, Photoshop will saves alpha transparency data in Targa files in the same way it did in previous versions, File Browser performance will be enhanced, the total ink will default to 300% as it did in previous versions of Photoshop, the color of white areas in CMYK files saved as JPEG files will no longer shift, TIFF files with LZW compression will be written correctly, Photoshop will offer better compatibility with older G4 computers, icons will resave as they did in previous versions of Photoshop, and metadata will be better preserved in certain JPEG files. Many other fixes are also included; visit Adobe's Web site for more information.
