Ease of use is Photolightning's priority, and the program makes good on the promise. The interface guides you step-by-step through the most common photo-editing and organizing tasks. Start with minor modifications, such as rotation, red-eye removal, zooming, and cropping, then allows you to print the results or share them via e-mail. Photolightning can help you create photo albums, flip albums, and slide shows. The slide shows can be viewed without any special software in your Web browser. The program's somewhat-restrictive, wizard-style approach may not appeal to everyone, but its functionality makes it a worthwhile download for beginners.

Print your photos at home in common print sizes (4 x 6, 5 x 7 etc.) on papers from most major manufacturers. Email your photos with a unique feature that reduces almost any photo's size to about 40k then places the photo directly in the email (no attachment to try and figure out). Print online with partners such as Shutterfly, Snapfish and Wal-Mart. Version 1.11 adds uploader for Walmart and support for Netscape Messenger."
