Photo editing can be a long and painful process, especially for people inexperienced with the complex software and processes involved. PhotoPerfect Express provides users with the ability to make quick changes to their images without a lot of hassle.
This free program has an incredibly simple interface. Using traditional file search methods for selecting a picture, your images quickly dominate the screen. Along the top are a few options for editing, saving, and making batches. Along the right-hand side are five different thumbnails of the main photo. Clicking on each thumbnail shows how PhotoPerfect applies a different finish to your photo and how that particular finish adjusts the color, clarity, sharpness, and contrast of each. In addition, there is a slider atop each picture allows you to compare the image before optimization to what it looks like after. Each photo that we put through the ringer was successfully edited to our liking.
All in all, PhotoPerfect has a very unique way of improving photos. Experienced photo editors might want more bells and whistles than what this program has to offer. However, if you are new to photo editing, or don't have the interest in learning the complex procedures, this is a great download to provide quick and simple photo adjustments.

Version: PhotoPerfect Express 1.0 build 78
"Helpful and well-thought tool"
Pros: Ergonomics is top notch. The buttons are large enough, even for me ;-) The whole concept is concentrating on ease of use.
The algorithms are intelligent enough, not to change the images, if not necessary.
Results are good and fast to achieve.Cons: Not recommended for pro, but I'm far from one ;-) There is not enough features. No retouch. Just pure image optimization. Although I must say, the batch processing work that well, that it might even benefit a pro...or at least semipro.
Summary: Personally I think this product is very well suited to novices and especially elder folks like me. I get good results with no efforts. Refreshing in comparison to other tools is that there are not more buttons than necessary. You can't do any wron... read more >>

"this thing doesn't DO anything"
Pros: none what-so-ever
Cons: does nothing to your pictures. Only makes them lighter and darker and some of the WHOLE 5 OPTIONS have watermarks you have to pay to have removed! What BS!
Summary: Don't waste your time, I did.

Version: PhotoPerfect Express 1.0 build 78
"Stylish, fast, lean and stable image optimizer"
Pros: Self explained user interface. I seldomly see such intuitive program. The 3 free optimizing methods works well. However the other 2 watermarked one are even better. Working on my photos have never been easier. The output are of high quality.
Cons: The downside is there are intentionally not much features built in. Fair trade-off though.
Summary: If you would love to give your photos a quick treat, this is definitely worth a look. If you just love to have a bunch of features, then look else where. One more hint, which I have just coincidentally found out - by right clicking the last 3 method... read more >>

"Refreshing way to optimize photos"
Pros: Quick, easy and effective optimization. Indestructive editing.
Cons: A couple of functions are not available until upgraded. But as TANFL and as the rest works well -> no deduction.
Summary: It seems that this product is pretty controverse. Either you like it or just love it. I love it. The interface is really easy and nice. You can't do anything wrong here. The optimization itself works well and is not destructive, as the original imag... read more >>
