For Professional Photographers, Photo Companion is a digital image management program that can be used in various ways. The most valuable method is to use Photo Companion as the central, or hub application in the digital imaging workflow. Photo Companion is also a helper application for Adobe's Photoshop® image processing program. There are no complex scripting or actions languages to learn. Simply use Photoshop normally. Photo Companion will remember what operations were performed and apply them to all images that are selected.

Batch Camera Raw File conversion (with or without Photoshop)
Batch renaming capability
Low or High resolution preview. Can also set preview size
Ability to easily set the orientation of the image. Any rotation set in the preview will be applied in Photoshop
Compatible with Image Capture. Will detect a plugged-in camera or memory card. Optionally copy images from camera or memory card to disk
Easy archiving of originals, and processed images to a selectable folder
Directly burn a folder to a CD from within Photo Companion
Extensible. Optional Database and Database manager for Image, EXIF and IPTC data. Optional extensible Web Page generation. Optional Captioning and editing other IPTC or EXIF data
