You can create timesaving macros to insert frequently typed text with this application, but despite its helpful wizard approach Perfect Keyboard isn't for the novice. The program has a clean but complex interface with a tree listing of macros and controls to add, run, or find macros that will eliminate repetitive typing of words, phrases, or other text. Macro descriptions are divided into five tabs: General, Trigger, Macro, Setting, and Scope. These allow fast editing or viewing of macro parameters, and include name, controls, and commands. Perfect Keyboard has an informative help file and sample macros. You can use the program's wizard and record or manually create macros, and the program lets you copy settings from its sample macros. Perfect Keyboard executes macros through text entry, hot keys, or clicks of the play button. A nice feature is the ability to share and run macros over networks. Intermediate to advanced users looking for a flexible and easy-to-use macro program will appreciate Perfect Keyboard Pro's abundance of features.

The program allows a user to create a file of frequently used phrases, paragraphs, e-mail addresses, macros, clipboard entries, scripts, and use them in any application just by typing a short abbreviation (text shortcut) or pressing a hotkey. The Perfect Keyboard supports macro recording so that user can simply record macros rather than program them. The Perfect Keyboard scripting language contains 150+ commands.
