From PentaWare :PentaZip is a compression software program and file viewer. PentaZip has earned all three Microsoft logos: Designed for Windows 98/NT, Certified for Windows 2000 Professional, and Designed for Windows XP. It features ZGB, a 64-bit format (for NTFS-based systems such as XP, NT, and 2000) to overcome the 4GB limit of the ZIP algorithm. New formats include Autocad DWG and DXF, Word DOC, Excel XLS, animated GIF, and multimedia (MP3, MPG, AVI, and so on). PentaZip is compatible with almost every compression format, including PKZip version 2.04g and older ZIP versions 1.0 and 1.1. Other compatible formats are ZOO, RAR, ARJ, ARC, CAB, LHa/LZH, TAR, Gzip, Z, BH, JAR, and Ace. It is self-extracting and includes a splitter. No additional software is required. You can encode and decode e-mail attachments created using UUencode, MIME-64, XXEncode, and BinHex. It has built-in scripting and scheduler. Any EXE program or BAT file can be scheduled to run at the time you want.
Other features include zip and unzip simultaneously. It supports most e-mail programs. It has nine different compression levels and multivolume ZIP archives. Add, update, or delete files in a ZIP archive without unzipping. Search for specific files inside any supported compressed archive. Execute files from a compressed archive. If necessary, its associated program will open, allowing you to use the contents, modify them, and resave in the original ZIP archive. You can compress files from multiple directories at the same time. It features standard password protection and can test and repair damaged ZIP archives.

- Support for Scripts is now applicable to LHa, Cab, Tar, GZip, ZGB (Zip Giga Byte), BH files as well as Zip archives
