"Great APP. Work Well with HTC Tilt2"
Version: PdaNet for Windows Mobile (32-bit Desktop Installer) 2.0
Pros
Easy to connect
Fast. Faster than the Verizon DSL house connection.
Able to still make and receive phone calls and texts while using internet on pc connected with usb ( have not tried wireless connection yet).Cons
Little pricey but at least no monthly fee.
Summary
I have been using PDAnet only a short time but like it very much. I am in a rural area right now but with good signal and speed is great using my HTC Tilt 2 through AT&T. What sold me on it is the ability to still use all of the features of the phone while also using it as my modem. This is a winner IMHO.

"Great APP!"
Version: PdaNet for Windows Mobile (32-bit Desktop Installer) 2.0
Pros
Connected perfectly. Recognizes my phone faster than Device Manager. Using Omnia 2 on Verizon.
Cons
None yet, little pricey but same service from Verizon is $20/month!
Summary
Great way to make use of your 3G data connection with my tablet.
-
"Fantastic!"
Version: PdaNet for Windows Mobile (32-bit Desktop Installer) 2.0
Pros
Love it. I am writing this review via PDA Net. Because I don't have internet at home. Too expensive.
Cons
None so far.
Summary
Great for traveling or at home. You can keep the desktop version on your sd card in your phone to install it on other computers if granted permission. All ways have an internet connection. Now, I hope that it's secure, meaning I hope that my info is not accessible by the public or others.

"Easy install & handled web browsing perfectly & fast"
Version: PdaNet for Windows Mobile (32-bit Desktop Installer) 2.0
Pros
ready fast connection. easy install. fast internet speed. stable.
Cons
obtrusive, doesn't wait for request to connect, it just pops up & must be acknowledged, so even when not using it, if I loose my main wireless connection, it automatically pops up to take over. which would be fine to keep connected, but it dont sleep
Summary
Great working, easy install & use. If it had an option to disable it, short of uninstalling it it would be perfect.

"Not as good as wmwifirouter"
Version: PdaNet for Windows Mobile (32-bit Desktop Installer) 2.0
Pros
Easy to connect, and works well for web browsing or email.
Cons
You need to download a client on your notebook and does not have wifi support unlike wmwifirouter. Also VPN does not work with my Windows phone.

"PDAnet is awesome for internet access via 3g phone."
Version: PdaNet for Windows Mobile (32-bit Desktop Installer) 2.0
Pros
+ Very fast & reliable speeds vs. EasyTether.
+ Tracks the bytes sent/received every time a connection is made.
+ I have never experienced a dropped connection other than an interrupted phone call.
+ Phone does not have to be rooted.Cons
+ Cannot access https websites after the trail version expires, which is 30 days later.
+ Cost of full version is very expensive, $23.95 ($18.95 sale) at the junefabrics.com site.
+ Has to be connected via USB cable.Summary
Overall, PDAnet is a wonderful app, given the pros it has. My only problem are the cons, which is a downfall. If it was a little bit cheaper, maybe $9.95, then I would upgrade to the full version, but if anyone does have the full version, please do share the registration code. It is possible to have only one registered license for the phone app, but unlimited for the computer (junefabrics.com can verify this in the HELP section). Thanks. :-)

"Works Great"
Version: PdaNet for Windows Mobile (32-bit Desktop Installer) 2.0
Pros
I have unlimited data on my phone. It works great and is transparent to VZW. The VZW modem link has a monthly fee and limited bandwidth. I'm using a Touch Pro 2.
Cons
It isn't free. Seriously, nothing I can think of.
Summary
I can get my work done while up in our cabin in the mountains.

"It was working, and then it wasn't"
Version: PdaNet for Windows Mobile (32-bit Desktop Installer) 2.0
Pros
The one time it worked, it worked quite well. The trial was free.
Cons
It only worked once, immediately after installation.
Summary
It worked like a dream--installed normally on my netbook with Windows 7 Pro. Connected and the laptop was online. DSL Reports speed test showed 827 down and 326 up. Not DSL but certainly usable. Then the dream turned to nightmare.
Failed to mention. Phone is an AT&T HTC Tilt 2. And while my laptop was connected working the first (and only) time, I got a phone call. The connection worked while I was on the phone. In fact, I had to check email on the netbook while I talked, and both worked flawlessly. Too bad it was a one hit wonder.
Then I did the standard "Does it really work?" test. Shut down the computer and restarted same. That was it. No more connection. Error 17. Error 3300 or something. Error APN. And so on. The company's FAQ answers to these problems either don't work or point to settings that don't exist in WinMo 6.5.
Oh well.
