Pazera Free Video to iPod Converter is an application which converts the most popular video files (AVI, MPEG, MP4, FLV, or MOV) into iPod / iPhone/Apple TV videos (MP4, MOV). You can also extract audio tracks from video files to MP3, AAC, WAV and AIFF format. Application allows you to convert full movie or selected range only. You can limit output file size and set many parameters used by encoder. The Pazera Free Video to iPod Converter interface is very simple and user-friendly. To convert video files, just drag & drop them into main window, select proper profile from list, and click the CONVERT button. If the video quality is poor, increase video bitrate.
Version 1.1 includes a new version of the FFmpeg encoder, adds support for new video codec - H.264, volume control, and support for additional FFmpeg command line parameters.

"A Must have for iphone/ ipod owners"
Pros: Does the job
Cons: Rather slow
Summary: After an exhaustingly long search for a *free* software that could convert my videos to mp4, i found this greatly satisfying. It IS quite slow, could take an hour, but definitely gets the job done well.

Summary: To those iphone users who cant get it to upload to your phone. You have to select output format as "MP4(MPEG4-AAC) and that does the trick. It worked for me. I converted onthe default setting and it game me the same message that i couldnt upload ... read more >>

"very slick but unable to upload file to iphone"
Pros: it seems to be a very slick utility
Cons: I have tried several setting configurations, but iTune does not sync the generated mp4 files to my iPhone with the message ".. file was not copied to the iPhone because it cannot be played on this iPhone.
Summary: It's too bad iTune did not copy the files, there must be some small inconsistencies, please fix this and I am looking forward for this utility to work for us!

"simple to use, not working on ipod touch"
Pros: easy to use and free
Cons: takes a long time to convert, easy to add to itunes but will not play anything that has been converted
