Pros
Needed a boot disk to reformat a new hard drive on a clean build. I had Acronis Disk Director - with some searching I found Partition Wizard.
Cons
None for me at this point.

Pros
I have used this program to resize, create, delete, format and even once, rebuild the MBR. This was across 4 large drives of different makes on 11 different partitions. All this was done rather quickly, without any data loss.
Cons
I have not used the copy or restore functions, since I use other programs for that.

This is one of those very rare free programs that I would pay money for

Summary
Few things annoy me more than a "free" version with restricted functionality. I deleted 2 partitions so that I could merge them only to discover the functionality was not available in free version. If vendors must restrict functionality thats fine, but dont waste my time and screw up my regsitry by not telling me upfront.

Very intuitive and straightforward. Accomplished several tasks without a reboot.

Summary
I upgraded a Vista 32-bit system to Win7 64-bit. No need to keep the 8 Gig "Vista restoration partition that HP placed on the PC. After the Win7 "clean" install, I then zapped the recovery partition and regained the 8 Gig for my C-drive. Any future "recovery" will be done via the Win7 recovery disc and a system image I have on an external USB drive.

I installed Partition Wiizard on my XP Pro SP3 laptop, started the program, and before I could even examine the interface, the program crashed.
