Publisher's description of Parent Tools for AIM
From Ignite Software:Parent Tools is a powerful tool for monitoring, controlling, and limiting access to AOL Instant Messenger. With this software, you can silently save all conversations, block features, and limit online time. The online time limits limit online time to a certain number of hours per day, and the online schedule feature lets you set times per day the user can access AIM. Parent Tools for AIM can block all IMs, IMs from select screen names, all chat rooms, or chat rooms with select titles.
The software will also optionally disable access to features that can be used to send objectionable material (Direct Connect IMs, Talk feature, chat invites). The monitoring options allow the user to either monitor all screen names, or select screen names. When monitoring select screen names, the individual settings, time limits and blocked features can be set for each different screen name in the list. The optional stealth mode feature will hide the program from users.

"Terrible Tech Support - registered complaint.. Joe Jordon ignores you"
Pros: program never worked right.. Joe Jordon replied, saying he was the ONLY tech support person and ignored future emails..
Cons: I would recommend this program......

Version: Parent Tools for AIM 2.1.6
Pros: Software itself works very well. It provides whatever it advertizes. It is easy to use.
Cons: I paid for online registration and the $10.00 for CD which never arrived and Mr. Jordan and his tech support refuse to answer for 2 months. This is outright theft.

Version: Parent Tools for AIM 2.1.6
"The BEST Aim "spy" software I have used to date!"
Pros: It can be completely hidden by anyone and everyone! It was so easy to set up (less than 1 minute). Love the feature that you only have to push Ctrl + alt + f11 and put in your password. There is no need to search the hard drive for the folder. This program is very user friendly! I just love it! My teen would never know and I can keep tabs on her! The cost of $29 is a drop in the bucket compared to other software! I feel at easy now! They just need to make a software now to keep track on Myspace! We will see! Thanks for the great product!
Cons: None!

"Do Not Purchase Parent Tool for AIM"
Pros: I have nothing good to say of this company or its software.
Cons: The whole company and software is a con, money for nothing as the song states.
Summary: Please do yourself a favor and purchase something other than ?Parent Tool for AIM?. The software will not work with current AIM versions. It loads up fine but will not monitor the screen names no matter what you try.
