E-mailing large attachments never has been easy, but this new app combines P2P tech with a clean interface to make sharing files or folders up to 1 GB a cinch.
Circumventing FTP servers, online storage and tertiary email accounts, Pando either generates a link for instant messages and Web pages, or e-mails your recipient a tiny attachment. When the attachment or link is clicked, Pando connects to its server and downloads the "package," as the Pando people call your attachment's contents. Recipients even have 14 days to grab the package before it's deleted from the server.
The uncluttered interface uses drag-and-drop browsing to prepare your package. You don't have to wait for the user to install the app: a recipient without Pando is walked through a step-by-step setup process that ends with downloading the package. Packages can be forwarded before the download or upload process is complete -- a smart feature, given varying connection speeds. It took us only a few minutes to grab a 75 MB package. Other useful features include support for multiple addressees, Yahoo and Outlook plug-ins that automatically Pando-ize attachments, and a record of how many times your package has been downloaded.
Easy to use, Pando could drastically change how files are transferred between small groups of people.

Pros: Amazing! I remember I was sending an old friend of mine a file and they suggested sendthisfile.com it took literally over 40 hours and over 8 tries and he a computer wise person said it was the best, I knew there had to be something better I searched on download.com because they have great freeware downloads and shareware and such and I found Pando!
Simply amazing for me it is fast, but can be *slow* depending on the file size and your computer space and such, but definitely less than 2 hours. Beats 40! And if your computer crashes or you get kicked of the Internet it starts back up right where you left off it does not start over, like most others.
It is also the saftest and most secure form to send your large files that I am aware of, or any files p2p that I am area of!
Cons: The beta does have ads at the bottom of the uploader. And the recipient has to download the file (s) through Pando, which is not so bad because the file is smaller it is all worth it!

Pros: It does what it says. You can send .exe or .mp3 or whatever you want. Many service providers block .exe. ie like gmail. I have beta tested this for this whole year. It is just getting better. Totally customizable to not even start with windows. You upload, then the recipient simply downloads.
Cons: Cnet said not for inexperienced users and have to disagree totally. The way it is set up, my 60 year father gets it. Small errors can follow, but it is just usually the recipient that does not know what to do or wont take the time to learn the program.

"Very good program (Muy buen pograma)"
Pros: It can send files up to 1 g without any problem. Very nice and Free!!
(Puedo sin problemas enviar archivos hasta de 1 Giga . Excelente y gratis!!)
