Site Inspector allows you to completely analyze and disect webpages using an easy-to-use toolbar located directly under the standard Internet Explorer Toolbar. Some of its main functions include:

  • Displaying a listing of all forms available in the viewed webpage.
  • Viewing a list of all the images in the viewed webpage, including usually hidden information such as images' file sizes, URLs and dimensions
  • Displaying all hyperlink URLs of the viewed webpage.
  • Displaying all scripts encountered in the viewed webpage.
  • Viewing all stylesheets encountered in the viewed webpage.
  • Displaying http-header information, including status code, server information, content type, etc...
  • Showing structured HTML source based on IE's Document Object Model.
  • Highlighting HTML elements by adding colored borders around the object and changing the background color.
  • Applying a copy functionality for URLs, page titles, page titles as tags, source code, hyperlinks, etc... and other extended functionality using the integrated Copy Meister.
  • Resizing the browser window on-the-fly to various pre-defined, standard monitor resolutions.
  • Zooming in / out on the webpage you are currently viewing.
  • Sending URL of the webpage for validation against current standards.
  • Sending any cascading style sheet code to the W3C for validation.
  • Testing whether links, HTML code, load times, and similar are functional.
  • Checking compatibility of the current webpage with various common search engines.
  • Checking the path of servers and IP addresses that a request for a network resource has to travel.
  • Pinging the server on which the webpage you are viewing is located.
  • Providing a detailed analysis of how long it took for your request of the webpage to be fulfilled by the webserver.
  • Reporting the owner of the domain at which the page you are browsing is located.
  • Providing a detailed analysis on the current traffic ranking of the webpage that you are viewing.
  • Analyzing the current page for the HTML code of entire pages, frames, and internal frames.
  • Analyzing the current page for the CSS (cascading stylesheets) code of the page.
  • Analyzing the current page for scripts.
