This aquatic-themed game strikes us as one of the more interesting and polished Pac-Man remakes we've seen. The basic concept echoes that of the classic arcade game, as you must navigate your fish through an underwater maze of rocks, sea plants, and coral to gobble up all the stars. While you must take care to dodge enemies such as crabs, jellyfish, and sharks, you can eat the algae plants to transform them into smaller fish you can devour. This game's vivid, brightly colored 3D graphics are very impressive, and the island-tinged music helps set the mood. Unfortunately, PacFish's customization options are slim, simply allowing you to adjust the screen resolution and sound volume. We also take issue with the trial version's limitation, which only lets you play for less than an hour. Still, this game makes a good bet for players of all ages, even those who don't consider themselves PacMan aficionados.
