From Mortal Universe :POP Peeper is an e-mail notifier that supports POP3, IMAP with Idle (AOL, AIM, FastMail), SMTP, Hotmail, MSN, Yahoo, GMail, Mail.com, MyWay, Excite, Lycos.com, RediffMail, Juno, NetZero, and iWon. Other features include portability, password protection, an address book, viewing in HTML (or rich/plain text for security), open/send attachments, separate polling intervals for each account. Many options are available to indicate new mail has arrived such as sound alerts (configurable for each account), flashing scroll lock, trayicon balloon, skinnable pop-up notifier, and a customized screensaver.
An SSL plug-in is available for download which allows you to retrieve e-mail from POP3 and IMAP servers that accept secure connections such as Gmail. With IMAP's Idle command, you will be notified of new e-mail as soon as it arrives in your inbox.
Version 3.4 adds support for importing from Windows LiveMail client, new notification using the trayicon balloontip, global hotkeys, and MP3 playback.

"Great Mail Program. And It's Free!"
Pros: Ability to check multiple email accounts from the most popular web mail clients. This includes Hotmail, Aol, Gmail, Yahoo, Mail.com ect. Easy to set up, personalize and use. Can check POP mail accounts also. I've tried many, this program is best.
Cons: None, its free, what more could one want.?
Summary: This program keeps up with the changes made by the various email clients, and it hasn't failed me yet, after 9 months of use. POP Peeper is a must if you have many email accounts.

"A really nice free email program."
Pros: I have several email account that pile high with emails. This helps me either delete or look at emails right away. It also is attached to my regular email program. I like this product.
Cons: There in not much I can say about what I don't like. Once your learn what each menu
does it was easy to set up. Maybe I wish it had a better virus protector or junk mail
catagory. -

"Does not seem to work with Vista 64 bit"
Pros: Would have been a good idea if it worked.
Cons: Appeared in taskbar at the start - did not show when mail arrived and disappeared completely next time I logged on.

"hasnt worked since installation"
Pros: havnt seen any
Cons: just seem to not work at all
Summary: it just didnt perform as expected not even as advertised, i tried it out for a few days and havnt seen hide nore hair of it at work in any form.
