This e-mail client application notifies you when e-mail comes in to any POP, MSN, Hotmail, or Yahoo account you specify. Despite being freeware, POP Peeper is a full-featured program with numerous settings and configurations. It lets you assign different WAV files as notification sounds for each of your various e-mail accounts. The program also sends visual notification.
You can open either POP Peeper or your e-mail client to check your new mail. Extensive help is available within the program and at the publisher's Web site. Modem users will appreciate the program's ability to go online, check e-mail, and log off at a specified interval. Folks with multiple e-mail accounts and not a lot of cash are most likely to benefit from POP Peeper.

From Mortal Universe :POP Peeper is an e-mail notifier that supports POP3, Hotmail, MSN, Yahoo, Mail.com, MyWay, Excite, Lycos.com, and RediffMail accounts. Several options are available to indicate you have received new e-mail, including sounds, a pop-up alert, and flashing the Scroll Lock LED. Downloadable notification plug-ins include a skinnable pop-up and screensaver. You also can read and delete messages, save attachments, and send mail. The application's other features include easy account setup, password-protection, user interface customizations, and the ability to read your messages in HTML, rich text, or plain text. An SSL plug-in also is available for download, which allows you to retrieve e-mail from POP3 servers that accept secure connections such as Gmail.
Version 2.4 adds XP style, simultaneous mail checks, and individual account timers.

Pros: Does EVERYTING an email checker should do. Fast, light on resources, easy setup, plenty of useful features and options, stable and free.
Cons: Can't thihk of any. The individual timer for checking each account was the icing on the cake for me. No cons left.

Pros: This is such an awesome program and it's free! It checks all of my emails every few minutes so I don't have to log into each account every time I need to access them.

Pros: VERY useful - lists mail from different accounts, each account in its own color - read and delete directly from server without downloading - easy to install and use - and FREE! Could it be better??

Pros: I think this program is the best in his genere, is easy to configure and maintain, it have lot's of useful options, is constantly updated.
I recommend this program, Is a great program:-), it make me happy!!

"Delete spam without downloading it!!"
Pros: PopPeeper allows me to only download the e-mails I choose from my server onto my hard drive. No more spam being downloaded.
