"PDFill PDF Tools - FREE!"
Version: PDFill PDF Editor 5
Pros
PDFill PDF Tools comes FREE with this editor, and it's all many people will need to modify their PDFs. It allows you to break apart or combine documents, rotate & crop, and add header and footer info (allowing you to make notations on the document).
Cons
What's not to like? It's free!
Summary
Even though I have a paid copy of Acrobat, I abandoned it in favor of some free alternatives after I developed consistent problems with the program (and after spending an entire evening uninstalling and reinstalling it several times). There IS life after Acrobat! You need a free PDF writer and reader (I think Foxit Reader is the best) and PDFill's PDF Tools product, which works with any PDF. You can't beat free, and I'm now happily using two products that take the place of Acrobat.

"OK but not very many options"
Version: PDFill PDF Editor 5
Pros
Its pretty simple to understand and allows you to create PDF documents. Copies various fonts pretty well as well as the colors of the font in your original document.
Cons
The text blocks are the only way to type anything into the document. Otherwise if you simply convert it doesn't tranfer any hyperlinks. Also doesn't allow you to change the color of the hyperlink font from the rest of the text in the box.
Summary
OK if you want to fill in forms & convert things, but not really for creating original PDFs with various styles, fonts, & designs.

"Incredible Value For The Price"
Version: PDFill PDF Editor 5
Pros
This is an amazing value for users like myself who occassionaly need to edit PDF docs but can't justify the cost of Adobe Acrobat. It includes a wealth of useful editing/form filling features and the basics are quite intuitive. For more advanced operations, the user guide is comprehensive and well organized. Probably the best $20 I've spent on software in a long time.
Cons
The developer offers "free tech-support for life" but (unless I'm missing something) I've yet to discover a useable contact link on their site.
I like the included skins (themes), especially "Office 2007 Ribbon" however I wish they'd include a gray/black version.

"Very good"
Version: PDFill PDF Editor 5
Pros
Sinmple and user friendly
-
"Meh"
Version: PDFill PDF Editor 5
Pros
Tools are OK.
Cons
It's great free until you try to save, but then it spams a big blue line of advert across your document. Inconvenient when you're trying to edit one freaking mortgage document and don't want to pay $20 to do it.

"OK but didn't buy ut"
Version: PDFill PDF Editor 5
Pros
Good value for money and does the job. Didn't purchase because I found my scanners' software suites have a pdf creation option -- that's all I need. Nothing wrong with the price or the product -- both are fine.
Cons
The output files from a scanner are big -- twice what I expected.

"I am very happy with this product."
Version: PDFill PDF Editor 5
Pros
It did what was needed. I encountered a protected PDF for a rebate. I did not want to fill it out by hand, as I wanted it to look professional. PDFill easily overrode the PDF protection and allowed me to produce the document the way I wanted it to look. I can see it has a lot of other features I look forwarding to trying out in the future. I do not regret the purchase.

"Useful, simple, versatile"
Version: PDFill PDF Editor 5
Pros
Usefulness. For the few bucks it costs, it offers a huge amount of functions to convert all my everyday documents to full-featured forms. I can then use them on every situation, at home, at work, even on mobile business. Password protection to prevent non authorized use. Insert my own watermark... Over a year using it, and still discovering useful functions!
Cons
Few javascript functions. Perhaps it should include some more scripts, or let it use others'
