Version: PC Tattletale Parental Control and Monitoring Software 7.9.115
"15,000 Downloads and only one other review of this great program?"
Pros: Great user interface, functionality, and options. I have mulled over parental control software for three weeks now trying to figure out what would be the best option for monitoring my 14 year old girl. This is it. It offers e-mail notifications for certain things (such as MySpace passwords), which make it a top-notch program, and the price of $49.95 for TWO licenses beats all other competitors hands-down.
Cons: No online monitoring. There was another monitoring program called WebWatcher Kids that claimed it was the best because it offered the ability to log on to their servers from any computer and see what your kids were doing. Regretfully that program didn't even come close to being better than PC Tattletale, even though it can be a pain to have to go to the computer being monitored to see what's going on. That's the only "CON". Offer online monitoring, and you've got the best program ever.
