"It really works"

Pros
It automatically cleans your junk files, cleans your registry, optimizes your internet connection and updates your drivers. It defragments your drive and scans for viruses.
Cons
It's not "free", only the initial scan is free, to use it you have to buy it.
Summary
I'm an IT student and I recommend this program.

OK, it does a pretty fast scan. There is no problem getting a refund so at least they are honest. I suggest you pay with PayPal.
Cons
The scan is NOT free. You don't get the results unless you buy. If you do, you discover that you are paying for only ONE YEAR. Sure, the price includes 5 computers but how many individuals have FIVE COMPUTERS? It is to be sure a search bundle including junk file cleaner, drivers, defrag, malware, registry, start up.
I won't let any program mess around with the registry......it removed 2 start up option I had to put back.Summary
Finally, I had to do a system restore to put everything back the way it was before. If your computer is in perfect condition (as mine was) and you are just looking for something to keep it that way (just in case) STAY AWAY FROM THIS. Opt instead for good free virus protection like AVG, scan daily with free Malwarebytes and CCleaner, free Smart Defrag 2 optimizes silently in the background, CNET's driver search works fine. Lastly, stay away from registry cleaners. Unless you know exactly what you are doing LEAVE THE REGISTRY ALONE! You can keep your computer problem free without paying out big bucks - just stay with the tried and true open source programs developed by people who enjoy their work for your benefit.

1. My computer runs faster.
2. I don't have to worry about bugs.
3. Temp files and unwanted cache are deleted.
4. Defrages your computer for you.
5. Scans for malicious bugs and virus's
6. I have it scan for me during the night so I don't have to wait around during the day for it to finish.
7. cleans up your registery for you.
8. Gets rid of files you never knew you had.
9. I have it installed on both my computer and laptop.
And the BIG one

Summary
This is one terrific program to have. the PC Pitstop crew has out done them selves with PC Matic. It is all their programs rolled into one. Your cost is minimal compared to the cost of taking your computer in to have the trojans,bugs and, virus's removed. Believe me I know. I've had to have it done, and it wasn't fun. I lost files, photo's and stuff I can never get back. And remember... Just because they run a PC shop/store doesn't mean they are "all knowing" about computers. PC MAtic is the tops for a good computer program that will tweek, fix, and get rid of all your unwanted stuff! I give it my AAAAAAAAAA+

Great security scan, easy fixes, helpful advice, practically runs by itself, etc.! My computer was in the pits.Because of PC Matic, it's been saved and performs well!!! It's faster, now views pictures on the net with clarity, etc! YAY!

I can't even think of any!hah Don't get Norton or anything else...this beats them for sure!

As an IT Pro, I've probably seen thousands of similar utilities. PC Matic is the most reliable I've seen. I use it on all my PCs
Cons
like other reviewers, I'd like the option, at least, of more user control. I understand the install-it, forget-it mode, but I for one would at least like to schedule scans and see a results report.
Some reviewers suggest they don't need any other Internet Security. That is naive, and firts with disaster. However, PC Matic combined with a reputable AV product seems like.a recipe for a good night's sleep. -
"Unethical Company - fair software - vastly overpriced"

The software actually functions fairly well

Unethical company that advertises FREE DOWNLOAD, which is true, but if you want to use it you will pay through the nose. Original purchase price was only $10. It was not great software, but for the price it was acceptable. Then they started TV ads that are grossly deceptive bordering on outright lying. When renewal time came round, the $10 product suddenly escalated to $50
Summary
The company's ads are egregiously deceptive, and the "free" download will scan your computer and find numerous non-existent problem to scare you into buying it. I never would have bought this in the first place if they had been running the deceptive ads at the time of purchase. They are not alone as this kind of scam merchant advertising and folks should know better. Secondly the obvious numerous fraudulent reviews on this site should be an embarrassment to c/net they are so transparently bogus.

"All In One Software"

Pros
Negates needing additional anti-virus and malware software. Doesn't bog your PC down. Provides tuning and keeps your system running at peak performance. Multiple licenses are nice.
Cons
Been running PC Matic as my sole security software for ten days now and am very happy so there are no cons to report to date.
Summary
I'm really happy as before I was running and paying for a separate AV software suite. Now all I have is PC Matic. Outlook handles Junk Mail. So I now have a system that runs faster because PC Matic is more efficient with AV and AMW. The tuning aspect of PC Matic keeps your system clean and up to date.
