From Yorkspace :The PC Decrapifier is designed to remove a specific list unwanted software in an unattended fashion. Before running, the user may select exactly what software should be removed. Currently, it is targeted for use on most Dell machines; however it will theoretically run on anything that has the software listed below.
Version 1.8 adds the ability to reset IE search and home page, removes all references to specific drive letters, and adds seven new trial programs to its removal list.

Version: PC Decrapifier 1.8
Pros: None that I know of.
Cons: It picked the totally wrong software. I had about 5 trial versions I wanted to get rid of, but the only things it detected were: McAfee (which I bought, and so is not a trial version) and Google Toolbar. Why it just picked these programs is beyond me.

Version: PC Decrapifier 1.8
"Very cool. Identifies some unneeded programs for you."
Pros: Easy to download and use. Good documentation. Identified and uninstalled some of the garbage programs that came with my Dell computer. Ran smoothly. Tells you the junk programs it can get un-install and lets you choose which ones.
Cons: Somewhat limited. Not guaranteed to identify all unneeded programs. Intended for recent Dell computers, but can work for other computers that have the same garbage progams that come with Dells.
