For a number of reasons, this antiadware application can't trump its numerous competitors. To begin with, PC Adware Spyware Removal only caught about half the adware components we installed on our computer for testing purposes (it skipped the executables of such well-known threats as NaviSearch, CashBack, BargainBuddy, and NCase). This flawed performance may be due to the fact the demo won't let you update its definitions database, which is key to maintaining effective protection. On the plus side, we did like the app's interface, which is elegant and well-organized. The cookie monitor and ActiveX-blocking features are welcome touches, but the latter didn't prove to be all that reliable. One of PC Adware Spyware Removal's biggest problems is that the trial version can't remove any spyware components it finds, which makes it difficult for us to fully evaluate how well it does its main job. Therefore, we'd guess that users truly concerned with shielding their PCs from malware should keep looking.

Limitations: Removal-disabled ? do i need to say more ! i just don't understand why on earth its none working software don't download it ! don't wast your time installing this junk ! software which does not offer free trials . i mean Removal-disabled ?? *** whats the point installing it anyway like we going to buy it ! BS... thank god i could type something about this time waster program, it's funny you could see the virus ect but you cant remove it you got to pay !! get microsoft Anty spyware and its damm free... p.s holyycrap

Removed some very imbedded hijack spyware that AdAware, Spybot S&D & Microsofts AntiSpyware could not do. Very impressed!

Pros
I used to use Ad-Aware 6 and found that PC Adware Removal found more infections faster. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, scanning the system does not hog up a ton of memory, and it really does work quite well. I feel safe using this program.
Report feature is excellent as well. It loads a webpage when prompted, that shows what was scanned, what was found, and what tools it used. This report can be called up whenever you feel neccesary.
Cons
I think things like adware removal tools should be free, after all, its not like we asked for the spyware and trojans to be downloaded to our machines.

Pros
Great description of every threat, even regarding where the threat originated and what may be a consequence of eliminating (such as being part of a program that you do actually want to keep).It is very easy to use, and detects things that other products (spybot, etc.) were unable to. The initial scan, that took about 10 min, detected 122 infections on my pc, and removed all, and now the pc certainly runs faster without irritating pop ups and ads.
Cons
Not too much, it just hung once while running, but that could be due to anything.
