This application is useful for women trying to plan or avoid pregnancy, though it lacks an important security feature: password protection. Ovulation Calendar Calculator's functional interface displays a calendar that you can scroll through and a section to enter menstrual-cycle information. After entering the first day of your last period, it calculates your future cycles and displays the ideal dates for conception.

The calendar uses color-coding to indicate times of menstruation, fertility, and ovulation. Displaying symbols such as a heart or an X, the application determines the probability of conceiving a child of a certain gender on a certain day of the month. If you know the date of conception, Ovulation Calendar Calculator will display the expected due date and even your unborn child's astrological sign. The application offers some extra features, such as a way to track your workouts, weigh-ins, and your basal body temperature. It also has a to-do list and a journal for taking notes. During the trial, we found that only the current month can be printed. Despite the lack of password-protection, Ovulation Calendar Calculator is a beneficial aid to women who want to keep track of their fertility cycles to plan or prevent pregnancy.
