CNET Editors' review
Orca Browser offers users the standard features found in many of the more popular Web browsers, all of which work very well, but the extras it throws into the mix failed to impress.
Though a little on the cluttered side, the user interface will look familiar to you. Navigational and command buttons are at the top of the window. Menu options give you access to more customization options to change the view, as well as the standard Internet options for managing your browsing history. There's an auto-fill feature that saves you the hassle of signing in and out of frequently visited sites. The Online Storage feature lets you save bookmarks, RSS feeds, and password information so that you can access them from any PC. It requires that you create a password and enter an address to get started. Once we entered our information, it wasn't entirely clear where to go next. When we clicked on the status-bar icon, a window appeared just to let us know that we were connected to the online storage. There was no way to manage our information, or to exit the feature. A visit to Help page returned a "page cannot be found" message.
While Orca Browser worked well as a simple browser, we were left a little put off by some of its features. It's free, but so are the other browsers, and the extras that distinguish this from the competition weren't enough to woo us away from our current choice.
Publisher's Description
From Avant Force:
Orca Browser is an extremely fast and user friendly Web browser, designed to add more functions on to the latest version of Firefox. Not only does Orca Browser contains all the features, such as security, low memory usage, spell-checker, built-in download manager, etc. from a typical Gecko based browser, it also improves the speed, adds built-in features like an AD Blocker, Flash Blocker, Online Profile Storage, auto Form-Filler, and a Outlook-Style RSS Reader. The auto Form-Filler helps to memorize or fill different types of web forms and passwords. It can also protect them with a master security password. Online Profile Storage allows users to create their own account. With their username and password, users can choose to save or access their personal data such as bookmarks, AutoFills, and RSS feeds remotely from any computer.

"A good one to have"
Version: Orca Browser 1.1 beta 3
Pros
Easy to work with, nice features, cool design
Cons
Couldn't find a way to import my bookmarks, but have to say that the main part of my bookmarks were in Firefox which I'd to delete as the new version doesn't want to function on my computer.
Summary
Get it - it works and get the Avant Browser too.
-
"Orca is as good and enjoyable as Firefox and SeaMonkey."
Version: Orca Browser 1.1 beta 3
Pros
It's helpful to have several browsers on your PC because no one browser is the best for all websites. Many websites will work properly only with some browsers and not with others.
Cons
No disadvantages.

"Orca Browser a great surfer!!"
Version: Orca Browser 1.1 beta 3
Pros
I recently tried this browser and i noticed its great loading page speed, so quick!!. i liked all the features included by default, almost all the tools i was looking for in a web browser, and the skins feature... so great!
Cons
i'm a site publisher, and i tried OB for my publications, and i noticed a bug at the writing time, i think it was the most relevant uncorfotable detail. (oh! i almost forget it... need more cool skins)
Summary
i like it, a great alternative apart for Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Chrome, just little bugs to correct and voilá!! i wish a great future for you!

"Orca is just as good as Avant with more features"
Version: Orca Browser 1.1 beta 3
Pros
Spell check. Auto-fill password keeper. Bookmarks. Pages load fast. Security is a lot better than Internet Explorers.
Cons
Crashes once in awhile and doesn't go SUPER FAST.
Summary
Orca is a mix of Avant and Mozilla Firefox. It seems like someone asked for too much for Christmas. =]

"Awesome Product you shout try it!"
Version: Orca Browser 1.1 beta 3
Pros
It's the fastest browser i believe out of Avant Browser, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Maxthon... etc etc
Cons
Will this Browser gets shut down because it's free ?hope not
Summary
The product is really fast it's a like a remix of Firefox 3 and Avant Force, but I would've liked it more if the feature "Save screen as image" etc stayed.

"A good enough browser & have great future."
Version: Orca Browser 1.1 beta 3
Pros
Good and stable, in the same league as FF3, Opera, Avant & Chrome. Anytime better than IE.
Cons
Start up not as fast as Avant/Chrome/Opera/FF3. Not much uniqueness as a different browser. Quite a number of similarities with Avant.
-
"Wow, I am impressed by the developer."
Version: Orca Browser 1.1 beta 3
Pros
From the same maker of Avant Browser who knows how to make a full featured browser out of the box. Orca Browser is essentially Avant Browser philosophy, but uses the FIrefox Gecko engine, and this version 1.1RC1 runs very smoothly and fast.
Cons
It is still in beta stage of development, but so far it performance quite good. Missing some features such as that I like in K-meleon such as RAM cache, and cache settings. Don't this Orca browser has these features.
Summary
I been a K-meleon user for a long time, because I wanted a light weight, and fast Gecko browser, however I am not a huge plugin, or extension fan. Avant Browser seems very fast, and possibly the fastest. I know it compares to another beta browser called Google Chrome. Avant Browser functionality in a Gecko enviroment. That just sums up what Orca Browser is, which is not a bad thing either. For a beta I will give his a 5 stars, though there is more to be done.

"It can *supplant* Firefox! This browser owns!"
Version: Orca Browser 1.1 beta 3
Pros
Akin to Firefox, the Gecko and in conjunction with Trident engine !!!
Exceptional and with nirvana.Surfing the net has this unique speed, eminently stable too.It can virtually supplant Firefox browserMasterminded genuinely.Cons
Nothing,it befits for all OS.Endeavour it now.

"WHY ORCA WHEN YOU HAVE AVANT ?"
Version: Orca Browser 1.1 beta 3
Pros
Looks like and works just like Avant.
Cons
Why Orca? There is already Avant which is a 2 MB download whereas Orca is an 9MB download but works the same as Avant. And Orca does not resemble Firefox.
