Version: Opanda PhotoFilter 1.0
"FILTER EFFECTS ARE GREAT AND IT IS EASY TO USE!"
Pros: This is really great at applying a broad range standard filter effects to your photos. You can choose from Hoya, Cokin and Standard Kodak filters. And what really makes it nice is that you can vary the effect from none to full on. It is great for making sepia toned from grayscale photos. You can add pizzaz to your digital color photos by use of these filters. And another nice feature is that it saves in both Jpeg and Tiff format. It is also free. So what is the catch, and there are a couple. Read the cons.
Cons: This product has one of the worst looking interfaces I have ever seen. Believe me, it doesn't look exactly like the screenshot they show you. It also advertises their software in full color adds in the lower right hand corner. However you can shut this off every time you use the program. I am using this on an older computer that has windows 98SE for an operating system. On this system the interface background is like an intricate carpet design and changes color every time I open the program. The design all but obliterates the names of the switches. The program may look different on other operating systems, I don't really know. The installation was sort of weird stopping before it was finished and saying something about the MFC42.dll. I clicked on Ignore and it finished installing. The program is really simple and easy to figure out so if you need this sort of thing I would recommend it because it functions nicely.
