From Tall Emu:
Online Armor is a next generation behavior-based anti-spyware and anti-malware protection product that shields your computer from known and unknown threats to your PC and your privacy--before they get on your computer. Online Armor analyzes behavior and does not rely on signatures for detection, so it provides real protection in real time against spyware, key loggers, trojan horses, phishing, DNS and hosts exploits, unauthorized settings and extensions, and parasites and threats missed by other products. Online Armor's WebShield works with any Web browser and removes potentially dangerous objects as you surf. It also contains a white list of safe programs to avoid unnecessary pop-ups, and support is available in the forums at the developer's site. Published in North America by Global Fraud Solutions.

"Non-functional"
Version: Online Armor 5.0
Pros
None whatsoever
Cons
Killed my machine like nothing before it. Lasted 12 hours on my PC.
Summary
I would never use a product by this company again

"EXCELLENT protection"
Version: Online Armor 5.0
Pros
Very user friendly
Cons
None at the moment
Summary
It fully passed the Gibson leak test. I also like how it runs seamlessly in the background. You start with a learning curve from the program and then your set to go. I have the free version on my home computer. Tested it on twenty computers at work. And it performed EXCELLENTLY. I highly recommend it. :)

"Online Armor Free works very well."
Version: Online Armor 5.0
Pros
Free, works in the background, easy to setup.
Cons
When downloading and installing new or updated software, the learning mode is a bit of a pain. However, that is what a good firewall does in order to learn about trusted software etc..

"Excellent Fire Wall! Ver 5.1.0.1331"
Version: Online Armor 5.0
Pros
O-A Free was the top rated fire wall by http://www.matousec.com/ until a business agreement dispute, which caused Matousec to remove O-A Free from their testing.
Now that the HIPS profiling is finished, performance is great.Cons
For several hours after upgrading from V 5.0 to VER 5.1.0.1331, O-A was profiling the activities on the machine and slowed the whole machine down for about 3 sec out of each 8 sec. Then abruptly, the performance returned to normal.
Summary
When I installed O-A 5.1.01331it was initially a resource hog, making on of my 2 core processors 80% busy for about 3 sec. our of every 7-8 sec. After a number of hours of that this activity stopped. Checking task manager showed that the O-A program oasrv.exe was the culprit. Since the hogging activity stopped oasrv.exe has consumed only a very small amount of cpu time and my computer response time has been very good.
Obviously you are doing something wrong to be having those complaints.
My guess is that O-A was in a learning mode, which is documented for the product, and once that was finished, response time went back to normal.
Updated on Oct 20, 2011
A) did you turn off your machines native fire wall?
B) Did you add the program path of your A-V to O-A, and visa-versa.
I haven't had a single problem withe O-A 5.0, but 5.1.0.1331 does consume a lot of resource for an hour or so while it profiles your machine.
You could be experiencing the machine profiling of the HIPS process....

"Resource hog - my laptop ground to a halt."
Version: Online Armor 5.0
Pros
Seems to be very secure.
Cons
Even after the initial learning period my laptop became so slow I had to uninstall to make it usable again.

"Brilliant & proficient"
Version: Online Armor 5.0
Pros
I have the 2 versions both the free version and the Premium version and they both perform flawlessly, the pop ups can sometimes be a little annoying but it's only doing it's job but t Armour is the best.
Cons
None at all
Summary
Free version is good but the premium version is better.

"Oh my god!"
Version: Online Armor 5.0
Pros
None at this time.
Cons
Not recommended for winXP SP3. Totally buggered .dll files.
Summary
Might be ok for newer operating systems. Left gapping holes in winXP SP3 systems.

"Just didn't work for me..."
Version: Online Armor 5.0
Pros
It seemed to work, I guess.
Cons
It slowed down my computer to the point that I couldn't do anything on the internet, so what's the point of having it. I would tell it to trust a program and it would ignore the action and pop up windows would come up every 3 seconds.
Summary
It is possible that I just didn't know how to work this program. I am not as computer literate as others so I will say that maybe the program would have worked fine if I had known more about how to negotiate the program itself.

"Didnt boot up after install"
Version: Online Armor 5.0
Pros
Free, thats it.
Cons
Took ages to install,It had to do a 30 minute scan of my pc, then restarted pc, Waited waited and waited.I waited 10 minutes still never booted up.Had to start in Safe Mode and uninstall it.
Summary
Ok its free, but it did not give me the chance to use it at all.
Used another firewall instead.
Not for me i'm afraid. -
