"Excellent Firewall- reference the paid version of OA"
Version: Online Armor 2.1.0.31
Pros
A firewall that gives me no problems. Boots up quickly and gives no lag time on using. The help file is fine when there are questions about the product. Automatically updates to newest versions.
Cons
none, so far.
Summary
The OA paid version works great with no visible system usage. It catches and flags all incoming programs and advises you on how to handle. After the first 3 days of the installation, I was hit with many pop up firewall warnings, but after the 3 days, the firewall learned and did not pop up for the programs any longer. I would recommend this firewall. I am currently using Eset AV and OA paid with no conflicts and the boot up is great. I received a slow bootup using Norton IS 2010, KIS 2010, and ESS 4 (which firewall is non comparable to OA).

"The only Security "Suite" i'll have"
Version: Online Armor 2.1.0.31
Pros
In the past year i have seen Online Armor go from a good product to the
best of it's kind available. I have trialed other security suites, usually
based on one good component with the rest of it being weak
Not so with OA. One of only 2 ( and the only free one ) to pass Matousec
100% right out of the box. Setup is very easy and almost completely
intuitive. Popups are minimal, color coded, and very clear. The free
is better than many security programs i've paid for.

"Best PC Security Software"
Version: Online Armor 2.1.0.31
Pros
Quite possibly the best investment I have ever made as far as PC security software goes (Online Armor now has a free version but I have used it since it required a subscription).
The firewall included in Online Armor is easily the best firewall on the market today. While that is kudos enough in and of itself I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how easy and intuitive it is to use.
Factor in the cost (free) and the other functionality included in Online Armor and it is far and away the best piece of software you can use to keep your PC safe and secure without effecting its performance.
Cons
My only gripe is the way that the license information is stored/retrieved from the developers servers. I have to manually go to a website and delete the entry that ties Online Armor to a specific PC before I can reinstall it (only a problem because I beta test new builds of Online Armor).

"Online Armor does an excellent job ( and there is NO malware in it.. None)"
Version: Online Armor 2.1.0.31
Pros
There are NO trojans or any other malware in Online Armor !!
I've used OA off and on -- now beta testing -- for about six months and I have *never* had any flags for "trojans", "worms", "rootkits" or ANY other malware. I use nod32 continuously (for 18 months), done online scans with Kaspersky and Semantec; done on-demand scans with A-Squared, SuperAnti-Spyware, and AVG AntiMalware, and I have NEVER had any flags for Online Armor.
Instead, what I have found in OA is robust, full-featured, powerful firewall and HIPs application, one that ranks among the very best. That includes Comodo and several other top of the line firewalls and HIPs I have tested this past year.
Online Armor is an excellent application. Heartily recommend it. Five stars, easily.
Cons
Powerful HIPS, excellent simple firewall (configurable for those who want to do that). Gets the job done, in spades! Free version is almost as full-featured as the paid version. Paid version has everything.

"Very Good"
Version: Online Armor 2.1.0.31
Pros
This software Firewall/HIPS/Program Guard program is excellent with little impact on system resources and provides a great deal of control over your system. Since using it I have seen a few false positives from other anti-malware programs, I have to wonder if the competition is getting nervous to have a new kid on the block who provides better protection and bets of all for free. I would recommend everyone in need of a Firewall program to consider Online Armor especially considering all the layers of protection it gives you in such a small package.
Cons
It does occasionally have minor conflicts with some programs, but the developer is working hard to fix these. Also, if you have the patience to learn, you can costomize it enough to get around these issues.

"Great Product, Great Security..."
Version: Online Armor 2.1.0.31
Pros
This is a great product that works on different levels depending on your needs.
If you just want it to do the 'thinking' for you, then use the inbuilt wizard, set Online Armor to standard, and you'll find that even the HIPS component, assuming you want it enabled, is surprisingly easy to use.. If you prefer to micro-manage, set OA to advanced and play with the more full featured options that instantly become available to you..
I note the silliness around statements claiming it's bundled with malware. - I prefer to take my lead from reputable sources. You don't have to rely on this site, or even the OA forum for your answers. You can ask at wilderssecurity.com for an independent viewpoint.- no such foolishness will be allowed to stand there. If you know about leak tests and such, go check it out for yourself or just read the results available on line at places like matousec.com.
There's a lot going on with this one, neat added value safety features like 'banking mode' shows the thought that goes into it - it's well designed, well supported and continuing to build and improve.
Great stuff..

"TROJAN BUNDLE ATTACHED!!!!!!!!"
Version: Online Armor 2.1.0.31
Pros
When I first installed this program, it seemed to have systematic cadence; however, when "ONLINE ARMOR" began initiating its services, my Kaspersky antivirus went totally batty!!!!!!!!!!----stating "malware invader" continuously. So, with that said, if I have to choose between Kaspersky and Online Armor----I'll most definitely stay with my trusted protection. I'll just search for a more compatible firewall-----without trojans. It may be due to a bug, yet you only get one chance with me when it comes to security and proactiveness. I'll just settle with my Sandboxie program. It partitions everything!!!!!!!!!! Even though this is a "pro" column in which I've stated some negativity-----I believe this program gave me some wisdom.---Do more homework before installing a program---------
Cons
Too many popups and malware!!!!!!!!!!!
