This software offers several privacy features we like to see, but some functions don't work properly. Omniquad Total Security 2005's stylish layout cleans the traces of Windows and Microsoft Office activities, as well as Internet Explorer and a few from Netscape. It blocks pop-ups, includes firewall protection, and can scan your Registry and hard drive for spyware and adware. However, removal isn't available in the demo. The program adds buttons to your browser's toolbar for its password-organizer autofill feature. During testing, this utility relentlessly requests permission to connect to the Internet using IP addresses from Omniquad's proxy list. Once permission is granted, strangely enough, its anonymous-surfing task fails to locate a usable proxy. While it does clean tracks well, Omniquad Total Security 2005 doesn't perform as competently as other online privacy applications.

  Pros: Nothing.

  Cons: Very primitive and amateurish product. Feels like made in China.

  "save your money"

  Pros: I posted a reply to the positive review but feel that you should know.

  it downloads as a suite. watch for 75% off sales.

  try it the free download before you purchase, make sure it works.

  Cons: tech support sub-par.

  slowes down computer.

  slowes down internet.

  refuses to refund money.

  Nothing but problems when I installed. Tech support only reply was to re-install. I tried twice to install and had major issues. They then tried to say it was my computer that is well above min requirements. I have installed pc-cillin and avast with no problems, both are better options.

  "very nice product - and much more cost effective comapred to other similar apps"

  Pros: - most number of security apps integrated into one suite

  - highly commendable antispyware engine

  - IP hiding tool works really well and ensures one's privacy

  - internet/windows cleanup tool has lot many features compared to most of the other products in the market

  - firewall protection is included

  - life time free updates

  - very nice UI

  - most cost effective product i have come accross over the net

  What else would you get for 30 USD

  Cons: Though I couldn't find any typical *cons*, I would just like to mention the flickering of program user interface when you start the app. But it works fine after a couple of seconds.
