Publisher's description of O&O Defrag Server Edition
The award-winning defragmentation program, O&O Defrag 11, optimizes hard disks and merges data fragments twice as quickly as the previous version. Thanks to its new background monitoring, O&O Defrag 11 is now able to prevent fragmentation from occurring at its earliest stages. Newly added and modified files are analyzed and defragmented whenever they're not being used. This allows O&O Defrag to ensure, behind the scenes, that your hard disks are constantly performing at their best. Newly developed technologies allow Defrag 11 to be better integrated into Windows Vista, and provide for efficient processing of especially large file systems while requiring only a minimum of space in the main memory. For the first time ever, O&O Defrag 11 lets you defragment individual files and folders as well as partitions and entire hard disks by right-clicking. The new File Status View is based on the already familiar Block View, which has itself been improved and extended in the new version. The File Status View displays the most heavily fragmented files as well as their number and level of fragmentation. Processing amounts of data in the terabyte range can be easily managed. Once O&O Defrag 11 is setup, the automatic configuration will require no further adjustment. O&O OneButtonDefrag makes it possible to automate defragmentation with just a few mouse clicks. After it's setup, there's no need to do anything more about optimizing the hard disk because O&O Defrag will take care of everything automatically behind the scenes.
Version 11.5 build 4065 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

- "O&O Defrag Server Edition"
- Version reviewed: O&O Defrag Server Edition 11.5 build 4065
Efficient and chock-full of features, this program may be one of the better defrag tools on the market, yet its price may worry even the most generous sysadmin. Server Edition can easily install, update, and control defragmenting (defrag) agents on multiple computers.
In our tests, it did a good job of defragmenting a large disk. Besides being efficient, O&O Defrag provides everything to make the process as inconspicuous as possible. For instance, it can work in stealth mode, which takes fewer system resources. You also can schedule jobs while you're sleeping, for example, or when your computer is idle.
O&O Defrag offers an impressive set of defrag methods. For instance, it is able to arrange files by name or date the file was last used. Overall, this is a very useful program for system administrators.
