Though it offers some nice features, this nutrition planner isn't very user-friendly. NutriGenie Weight Perfect's interface is packed with buttons but no tool tips or guide to using them. Though you enter weight and other information at setup, you'll have to reenter it to use the Cholesterol Profile and other features. Quite a few tools are offered, a BMI calculator and blood pressure tracker among them, but diet planning features are limited. You can create a menu and save it in one format, recognized only by the program, but there's no option to add a date and file names are limited. It's fairly easy to add foods to meals, and comprehensive nutritional information is provided for each item and the meal as a whole. The trial version disables or limits access to some features. This program offers a great deal, but most users, especially novices, will want an easier-to-use weight loss planner and guide.

Publisher's description

From NutriGenie :

Award-winning nutrition software with automatic menu generator and unique USDA Food Pyramid analysis. Indispensable to anyone who wants to achieve a more desirable weight. Some of the features that distinguish Weight Perfect from other diet programs are: The program is based on US Surgeon General's dietary guidelines for treatment of obesity. It provides graphic USDA food pyramid analysis for balanced and nutritious weight-loss diet. It has the ability to auto-generate balanced menus based on user's calorie specification. User can search and sort the food database for better food choices. Weight Perfect is a diet planner rather than a passive food logger. It is hard to achieve weight goal without planning. It is even harder when one merely records what has already been eaten. Best of all, it's not necessary to use the software daily.
