"Don't Believe the Positive Reviews"
Cons: Don't believe all the positive reviews that this program is getting. They all look like they were written by the developers or by people that novastor paid.
The scheduling program breaks all the time. I have to always terminate the backup processes for the next backup to run. It will work one day and then subsequent backups will break and I have to terminate the novabackup's processes again. Also, even when email notification is enabled, it doesn't notify you that the last backup did not ran. So you have no clue why the backup did not run. Another flaw is the log file does not tell you the size of your compressed backup. It only gives you the uncompressed size. So you have no idea if your backup media is approaching it's storage limit. If Novastor can fix all these problems then it is good product. Otherwise, go with backup4all.

Pros: The interface looks nice and if you like jokes AND slow, this is the program for you.
Cons: As said before, Scheduler breaks EVERY time. Program often hangs and you have to kill the process and try again. Cannot restore items. The program doesnt work.
Summary: The Novanet Web follows the exact same trend. Only since you have to connect the machines remotely it is even worse because the connection breaks all the time too. This is a COMPLETELY unreliable company and if I were you, i would choose anything bu... read more >>
