"Best Script Editor Ever"
Version: NoteTab Pro 5.7
Pros
I have been using Note Tab for a long time, 4 or 5 years. Originally the free version and then the pro. This program is easy to use, easy to configure, great for any editing but especially for html based script. I would use nothing else.
Cons
You must know something about scripts to really benefit from this program. If you are looking for something that will do everything for you, this might not be your product to purchase. If you want to actually learn the script, this program is great.
Summary
Buy Buy Buy. If you need a great script editor for a fair price.

"Best text editor, can't live without it."
Version: NoteTab Pro 5.7
Pros
Stable, can't crash it. Handles huge files. Features that I actually use. Complete control of text files. Even handles EBCDIC from my AS/400s. Regular Expression replacement and searches work great. Love this software. First thing I load on any new machine.

"Best text editor available"
Version: NoteTab Pro 5.7
Pros
This text editor packs the most features found in any text editor I have found. Of the many text editors I have tried, this one always exceeds the capabilities of all of the others.

"Excellent piece of software, helps me a great deal!!"
Version: NoteTab Pro 5.7
Pros
Very flexible, simple software, with extended posibilities, I haven't seen any better!

"Useful and convenient"
Version: NoteTab Pro 5.7
Pros
Nicest feature for me is the ability to catch the clipboard content on CUT or COPY actions. The clip book function is a mighty tool to extend the functionality of the program.
Cons
The handling of Unicode-files is bad (only action is to load as read-only to protect the Unicode notation). Same with DOS text files, you can save a file DOS coded, but it will be reloaded ANSI coded. So special characters are lost or better wrong printed.
So for ANSI only use, NoteTab is to be recommended because of ease of use, good functionality and good extensibility (and because of my special gimmick with the clipboard). But definitely not to use with different character coding.
