NodeScan allows people to easily share any kind of file, as well as chat and search for information and files, over the Internet or an Intranet.
The software is currently in beta.
NodeScan is a hybrid peer-to-peer/client-server based system which combines the benefits of both kinds of networks. It consists of separate server and client applications. NodeScan provides a platform for a variety of network services. The NodeScan network architecture has been designed for ease of use, stabilty and scalabilty.
What's new in this version:
- The latest releases include a number of improvements and bug fixes as well as adding long awaited support for other platforms such as Windows and Linux.
- NodeScan can now be used to transfer files across platforms on a local network or across the Internet.
