Version: NoAds 2005.02.12
Pros: It works in IE,Firefox, but some it doesnt work in Opera, but trust me, it's still the best for freeware, and it even blocks those pop up from paltalk.I'm using it and will keep it. Thanks!
Cons: not many features, but better than nothing at all.

"Small AND Powerful, easy to use software that gives YOU control over pop-up ads"
Pros: The program is supremely stable and has, in the 2 years I have used it, never caused any compatibility problems at all on Win 98, Win 2K or Win XP.
It only uses 868K of memory (when minimised) and 1692K when maximised. Its CPU usage in both states is also extremely minimal.
It comes with a built in store of pop-up web addresses called targets, so that it will already be able to block most common pop-ups without any user input. It also has a built-in update function that will add to this store, increasing pop-up protection.
The store doesn?t cover all pop-ups and when you see one that hasn?t been blocked, you simply maximise NoAds from your taskbar, select the pop-up and add it to targets. It?s not only simple to stop pop-ups, but it can also be quite satisfying.
If you want to un-block an ad or web page that you have previously blocked, you can remove a blocked page or ad easily from the targets list, by selecting the pop-up in the list and clicking remove.
Not only can you add targets from the Internet update and whilst you surf, but you can also merge target lists by importing them from other locations on your computer, or local network. This means that all the computers on a network can have their targets lists merged and make use of one comprehensive list. It also means that you can share your targets list with your friends and build a truly comprehensive targets list as well as keeping your personal targets list, saving it and then merging it again after a hard drive format or program reinstall.
I use MSIE on my machine, but NoAds supports all the popular web browsers and although I haven?t tested it with these browsers, if the performance and compatibility with MSIE is any indicator, it should be great. It will also work with AOL, should anybody use AOL as his or her ISP.
The program?s GUI is basic but not ugly and very easy to use. It makes use of tabs and simple buttons to provide an intuitive and straightforward, logically organised interface.
Cons: There are no cons that I can think of.

Version: NoAds 2005.02.12
Cons: This blocker never stopped a single pop-up I experience since I Installed it. I had to exercise my patience and it appeared this program has to be told of EACH pop-up window manually. This process is cumbersome nothing to say about its inefficency. Moreover the pop-ups first are opened and only then I can block them so I have pretty much time to download and notice an advertisement on it. It's ridiculous.

Version: NoAds 2005.02.12
Pros: It does exactly what it's suppose to do. The program is called NoAds, it means NoAds... When you get a pop-up ad, just add it to the list... Love it!
