"They have gone backwards from previous versions"

Pros
Nimbuzz PC can display your contacts from many social networking and chat services.
Cons
No notification sounds when someone wants to contact you which forces you to have the native client apps running. Chatrooms removed from this version. Support forums show pc version not a priority, they seem to focus on mobile versions only.
Summary
Nimbuzz mobile is cool but the pc version is nearly worthless. It is okay if all you want is to see who is online across all of your chat services, but since you won't be audibly notified whan they contact you, you will have to run all of your other chat programs anyway. Their support give the impression that future development of their oc version is unlikely. They seem to be focussed only on their mobile versions.

Pros
Can open one platform to have access to several messenger & social network contact lists. Can write "what's on your mind?" once and it will post on Twitter, Facebook, blog, etc.
Cons
Needs a few more networks that I use.
