(From Ziemantics ):Newzie is an RSS and Atom News Aggregator. It allows you to monitor hundred of news sources at the same time and make you read retrieved content fast. While News Highlights and News Slideshow enables you to read fast, content filtering via WordWatchDogs and virtual channels bring the content you like as soon as they are retrieved. You also can read without opening Newzie via NewsBar and Popup Notifier. News feeds also may provide content in audio and video. Newzie enables you to download and manage those enclosure files, such as podcasts, with pause/resume support. Newzie also is a Bookmark Manager. You can manage your favorite Web pages, monitor updates in those pages, and get updates highlighted.
Version 0.9.91 adds a new GUI, changes MainFrame; updates Web-page monitoring and highlighting; updatesUnicode support, and adds some other improvements and fixes.

Version: Newzie 0.9.91
Pros: works well for newsfeeds.
Cons: Lacks some features. Good ap but something is missing I can't put a finger on.
