From Newsplore :Newsplorer is a fully skinnable newsreader that supports all the major news-syndication formats available today. You can add an unlimited number of news sources and group them by category. Newsplorer will periodically update all news sources and display the fresh items in the system tray. You're welcome to start developing skins; the skinnable framework is simple and straightforward to use. Newsplorer is non-intrusive and is free of spyware and adware. Dialog size and position are saved between runs and you always aquire a new browser window on first link clicked. Version 1 added support for language-dependent characters sets. Atom 1.3 format support. OPML import tool added. Docking to top/bottom screen. Authenticated feed support and SSL feed support. Offline browsing support.

Version: Newsplorer 1
Pros: Up to date news
Cons: The docking bar re-assigns the dimensions of the screen. After I uninstalled the application, the part of the screen that the docking-bar had occupied remained unusable!
