From Next Gen Toolbars:News Bar is a multifunctional toolbar to feature almost everyones needs. Here is a list of the most important features:A News ticker that displays the current news headlines. A Search that you can use to search Google, search for stock market information, products on ebay, weather information, images and lots more. A weather forecast button that displays the current temperature for your region and a three day weather forecast if you click on it. The Email notifier notifies you of new emails. You can set it up for several accounts. This includes a popup blocker, history cleaner, cache cleaner and cookie cleaner. In the settings dialog you can disable components you can like and customize the toolbar. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

It doesn't offer anything out of the ordinary, but this free Firefox extension comes out on top because, unlike other toolbar fare, every single one of its features works really well.
News Bar Internet Firefox Version offers a very clean, customizable interface that includes all of the standard options such as an e-mail notifier, weather forecast, and a pop-up blocker. It also lets you add your favorite applications to the toolbar for quick access. It includes a search field, an RSS ticker, and options for cleaning your browsers cache, history, and cookies. There's also a shortcut button to Amazon.com. The Internet radio comes with a long list of preset stations, and we were easily able to add our own. It worked great for us during testing. We were also able to successfully add gadgets to the toolbar.
Its nice to come across a toolbar that just plain works. We highly recommend this freeware for any Firefox user.
