Netelligent Dual 10/100TX PCI UTP Controller:Compaq offers the industry's first high-performance Dual 10/100 TX Controller-designed from the ground up to meet the high performance demands of new Pentium Pro servers, such as the new Compaq ProLiant 5000, and give a performance boost to other PCI server platforms. The controller has two 10/100 TX ports which support two LANs while taking up only one PCI slot. The ports are seen as two separate LANs, both supporting full-duplex Ethernet (20Mb/s) and Fast Ethernet (200Mb/s). The Dual 10/100 TX PCI UTP Controller also supports the Compaq Advanced Network Fault Detection and Correction feature for redundant network controllers in Compaq servers. The drivers provided are compatible with current NetFlex-3 and Netelligent 10/100 TX PCI UTP controllers for easy server upgradeability. Additionally, the controller supports many popular network operating environments including NetWare, Windows NT and Windows 95. As a 10/100 TX controller, it is ideally suited for customers who are migrating to 100Mb/s Fast Ethernet speed.
