It also provides redial and automatic reconnect, tracks your online time and cost, has a ping feature to keep your connection alive, and can dial automatically whenever an application requires a connection to the Internet. It also displays your IP address when connected, logs all calls individually and shows your usage history by month for the last 12 months. "Tested Spyware Free my foot!"
Version: Net Pal 1.2c
Pros
None as it is spyware.
Cons
This program will send any e-mail addresses you have configured in Outlook or Outlook Express to its controlling servers, to be sold to third parties who send junk e-mail to those addresses. It also tracks your every move on the internet.
Summary
Why in the world does cnet have this spyware on their website. I am disappointed in cnet.

"Does everything a dialer needs to."
Version: Net Pal 1.2c
Summary
The Windows XP dialer comes with every feature needed for me except a minimum connection speed option and Net Pal has it. Its a small program that takes up no resources and has all the options a dialer should have with no added clutter.
