A powerful image handling tool with a wide range of features, Neomesh Image Converter is unfortunately undermined by an unimaginative interface.
The program installs quickly and must be launched manually. It offers the ability to convert between an extremely wide range of image formats, with the subsequent ability to stitch them together into a single animated GIF or mosaic image. A wide range of editing functions allows users to tweak images, with features such as cropping, rotating, repairing and resizing. The only serious gap we found was the lack of a sharpen function.
Unfortunately, an extremely plain interface may turn off users who are attuned to the aesthetic side of software. The trial version is also extremely limited, with the ability to add just four images at a time. But on the whole, we would feel fairly comfortable recommending the tool to animated GIF designers who don't mind using a tool that focuses on function, not form.

Manage files of multiple formats and create animated GIFs for the Web. Neomesh Image Converter can convert between most of the common image formats used on the Internet today. Convert between BMP, EMF, GIF, ICO, J2K, JPEG, JP2, JPC, PCX, PNG, PGM, PNM, PPM, TGA, TIFF, RAS, WBMP, and WMF. The Resize feature allows you to create thumbnails. Its also good for making the images to the desired sizes before joining/animating them together. Joining allows you to place all of your images into one image. Its great for making mosaics or placing textures. You can create animated GIFs using the animation feature. Arrange the images into the desired order, set the time between the images and the number of times the animation is to loop, and presto you have an animated GIF ready for the Web.
Version 2.2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"Terrible Program"
Version: Neomesh Image Converter 2.2
Pros
Can convert many different files to others.
Cons
Is unclear about how to use.
Bad looking.
Output files didn't look as they should.
Messed up file associations; now wont let me open up picture files in the correct programs.
