Version: Navy Field 1.074
"Enjoyable for the first few hours. Quick point style."
Pros: -Only modern game of this genre.
-Supports a large volume of players.
-Graphics do the job, and then some.
-Fair variety of ships to buy/upgrade.
-Large volume of weapons to equip on your chosen ship.
-Excellent music.
-Fairly lag free.
-Ship names, it doesn’t seem like much, but it’s a nice personal touch.
-Displays great potential if...
Cons: -Extremely repetitive game scenarios.
-After the first 15 levels, the game is nothing more than an endless grind.
-Graduated system involving weapons and ships is extremely badly done, feels too much like a traditional MMORPG than a WW2 naval game.
-Crashing bugs that have survived a myriad of patches.
-Gaining credits and reputation takes far too long, you'll grow bored of the flawed system quickly, and you’ll end up trying to exploit flaws in the game. Anything to speed up advancement.
-No tangible gains from advancing in the ship tree, you'll end up avoiding the cruiser+ class vessels due to repair costs. Gaining money is far easier in the lower classed ships.
-Broken and unrealistic torpedo damage modeling. You’ll think tac.nukes were standard armament.
-Broken and unrealistic ships. (4” belt armour on destroyers?)
-Broken and unrealistic weapons. (No real sense of muzzle velocity)
-Unrealistic ship damage models. A more in-depth system could be interesting.
-Fast game play that may turn many people off; who lack quick reactions.
-No real sense of force balance, only ship displacement is counted rather than player rank. (Teams are often stacked, new players are victimized constantly by high level players in low level ships)
-No sense of gains after a battle is won or lost, no persistence in the game world.

"Very addictive game for players who are looking for challenges"
Pros: -Great Battle scenes
-Very competetive
-Requires lots of skills to master aimming and battle strategies.
-Good Graphics
-You get addicted to it once you are on the right track!
Cons: -Too difficult for some new players to learn and get use to the game.
-Once you start to lose many battles in a row as a beginner, you start to lose interest in this game.
-Should be more clear on how the Tactic system work, since lot of times player loses the battle even though they sunk all the enemy ships.

"great game! would recommend to anyone, only a few minor flaws"
Pros: When i first heard this game, I was in awe of the screen shots i saw. It showed huge battles of 30 vs 30 and all of this was done in realtime which immediately grabbed my attention. After downloading the game, i started playing and i immediately noticed the detail and crisp graphics. i also like the idea of customizing your own ship.
Cons: Getting a hold of the controls in the beginning is really difficult. At first, the tutorial suggests that you use Auto aiming although after using it for a couple of battles, it turned out to be really inaccurate. Plus, most of the rooms i played in, ppl used aiming. Aiming FCS was difficult for me at first but after a couple of battles, i got the hang of it.
Another problem was the lack of information in the tutorial. It was too brief and didn't explain each aspect of the game to the fullest. i had to search the web and the forum on navyfield.com or trainworld.us to find useful information.

Version: Navy Field 1.074
Pros: The aiming system on this game is awesome. It is as close to real life in this kind of game you can get when it comes to aiming
Cons: The only on ething that i dont like is that this game requires ALOT of virtual memory, Thus crashes everyonce in a while. Trust me the game is worth it though.
