Publisher's Description
From A-FF Labs:
When you delete a file, its content physically remains intact on the media, but the occupied space becomes marked as free. Next file saved to the disk may overwrite the contents of the deleted file. It is very important to make sure that no application writes to the drive or partition where deleted file is located since every new file (even a small one) may overwrite the deleted file. NTFS Undelete is free software that allows you to recover deleted files. It recovers files directly from hard drive, and it will work even if you empty Recycle Bin.

"Does good job, but slower than a tortoise."
Version: NTFS Undelete 0.93
Pros
It does undelete files, and accurately from what I can tell.
Cons
1. Slow as a tortoise. I expected it to be very quick (they claim it is), but it is VERY slow. I had some 3000 files to undelete in a folder structure. It will be way faster to restore them from backups.
2. I went to get a refund because I was not pleased with the speed. Their policy says "No refunds". Their excuse is you can try the trial version for free, which does not undelete.Summary
Not worth the money. To many other programs out there that do the job just as well a lot cheaper.
Refund policy is unacceptable. -
"Great program, great support, great company"
Version: NTFS Undelete 0.93
Pros
Program was easy to use, it recovered the file I needed quickly. I had a few questions about the program and the support team answered my emailed questions within minutes.
Cons
Since the program worked perfectly for me and my questions were answered quickly, I don't have any cons.
Summary
I have purchased other programs from eSupport.com such as Driver Agent and Registry Wizard. I've never had any major issues. Small issues were solved in a timely manner by their great support team. I would gladly do business with them again.

Version: NTFS Undelete 0.93
Pros
It took less than 2 minutes to locate and recover the photo I accidently deleted. Was quite sure what folder to scan, but the support FAQs were great.
Cons
None. NTFSUndelete worked. What's to complain about?
Summary
If you have deleted a file, trust NTFSUndelete. Save me today....

"Defective product, ignored emails, refused refund"
Version: NTFS Undelete 0.93
Pros
none that I can see
Cons
no customer support, they ignored me for a week until I suggested I get my bank involved.
Summary
If you have a problem, don't count on any support. They 'lose' emails or claim you did nto send them while you are nice and only respond when your bank or other organizations get involved.
I have downloaded 3 times, tried to install numerous times, and all it does is crash. I have purchased another product as I needed the ability to recover files during the time they ignored my inquiries. They have refused to refund, stating it is a non refundable product, though their terms state that refunds are given for defects. -
"OUTSTANDING! One of few softwares that actually work!"
Version: NTFS Undelete 0.93
Pros
I've used paid-for undeleters before that were not very impressive, this one stands out. I didn't run it until about 2 weeks after the accidental deletion of all my document files, this baby found them and broiught them back within a few minutes!
Cons
Most of the documents and files in the undelted folder will not open for some reason, Adobe and other opening programs all tell me that the documents are either an unrecognized format, or are corrupted. Any advice?
Summary
I can't believe this product is free, in my opinion it's the best undeleter out there, I highly recommend it.

"Works better than programs that I have paid for!"
Version: NTFS Undelete 0.93
Pros
Can see and recover Asian characters
Cons
Lack of filters
Summary
MS screws up and deletes the WHOLE drive instead of one file and I am left scrambling to find my old software to recover the drive. I dl several progs that want $ to recover more than 25 kb files. THIS prog recovers things exactly as they were named. EXCELLENT!!! Nothing like watching 200 Gb dissapear while you are trying to figure out what is going on.

"I can't believe it's free!"
Version: NTFS Undelete 0.93
Pros
It took me less than five minutes to install this and set it up to recover the files I wanted.
Cons
I honestly can't find a fault.
Summary
I was a bad little geek and got lazy about my backups. After panicking a bit, I decided to give this a shot. Installation was a breeze and setup was far easier than I had imagined. In less than 5 minutes, recovery had begun. In just over an hour, it had successfully restored nearly 18000 files, including the folder structure. Simple, fast, and efficient. What else could I ask for?

"A FREE LIFESAVER!"
Version: NTFS Undelete 0.93
Pros
Really fast file scan, Free, Easy to use, Good success rate!
Cons
Umm... The makers aren't getting any of the hundreds of dollars that the other companies wouldn't have gotten from me? No complaints here!
Summary
My friend formatted my 120gb hard drive on accident trying to install windows... I looked for programs everywhere and the only stuff I could find cost a ton of money. I tried VirtualLab and they wanted 150 bucks! This program was way faster and free. A little basic but that's not really a bad thing to me... Had everything I need! Also there was maybe 20 corrupt files out of 4000 not really a bad thing either...
