Version: NOD32 Standard Version (Windows 95/98/Me) 2.5
"Best Lean, Fast Antivirus Program"
Pros: I tried the below listed 30 day trial Antivirus programs over the past month.
Norton, Kaspersky, F-Prot, AVG Free, BitDefender, McAfee, Avast and a couple of other that are not worth mentioning.
1) Norton, Kaspersky, BitDefender, McAfee are well known products and I am sure they do an excellent job, but they take up a lot of system resources, scan slow, are huge programs to download for a trial and are expensive to purchase.
2) AVG Free is an excellent freeware Antivirus program, but why does it keep logging in everyday and claims to do a "priority update". And you cannot disable it from "downloading", or I call it
"uploading".
3) I almost purchased F-Prot because of its simplicity and fast scanning, but I thought I would try one more.
4) I tried NOD32 Antivirus and I really like it! It is kind of a strange name for an Antivirus program so I think a lot of people pass on this one. But, I found it to be really fast, effective, highly rated
and it is inexpensive. $58.50 for two year license. It is everything I want in an Antivirus application.
5) I am really pleased with NOD32 Antivirus and I am glad the past month is over. Now I have something I can trust for the next two years.
6) Did I mention it is fast! It will detect a virus before it downloads to your computer! It will notify you to immediately end your internet session if it
detects a hostile web site threat to your computer!
7) My suggestion to prevent your computer from being infected by emails and hostile websites is to use NOD32 and also download the freeware program "Enigma" browser from this website. Enigma browser replaces
Internet Explorer browser and has so many features, it is like an antivirus program in itself. Prevents Popups, Scripts, Music, Balloons and all that other stuff from getting on your computer. After installing Enigma, click on "Tools".

Version: NOD32 Standard Version (Windows 95/98/Me) 2.5
Pros: This is my favorite security program I've ever used. I have not bought it but the trial version is flawless! Well worth the download and if you like it, buy it. There is a very generous one month trial period before you buy it. At least try it. You won't be disappointed!
Cons: None whatsoever!

Version: NOD32 Standard Version (Windows 95/98/Me) 2.5
Pros: Excellent software. It use less system resource than any other program I know.Sits nicely in the taskbar and runs like it never existed.
I have had no problems with this software at all
Cons: hmm..Well unusual interface. It was little confusing to use at first but I got the hang of it.One thing I could say is to improve the user interface. The list of options on the program is confusng. You don't know what AMON,DMON,EMON ... is.. until you click on it.I would like to see a clearer interface.Like kaspersky if i want to scan my harddrive I would like to see a option *scan harddrive* and not like click uh...Whats AMON?and then erer where;s the scan?Oh its under the option NOD32 from the list then u click local scan disks. Now whats the difference between On demand scanner and the normal scan local disk???
