It offers precision and clarity without sacrificing readability. Commissioned in 1975 by Thomas Nelson Publishers, 130 respected Bible scholars, church leaders, and Christians worked for seven years to create this completely new, modern translation of the scripture. With unyielding faithfulness to the original Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic texts, the translators applied the most recent research in archeology, linguistics, and textual studies. The resulting Bible is beautifully worded and trustworthy. It is ideal for study, teaching, personal reading, and congregational use. The NKJV is the preferred translation of thousands of today's prominent Christian leaders and has been purchased by more than 25 million people since its release.BibleReader Features (Palm OS):Interactive Toolbar Split-Screen - display up to three versions of the Bible simultaneouslyAuto-Scrolling Hyperlinking Highlighting Bookmarks - ability to arrange topically, sort by alphaPersonal Notes - add notes to specific verses of scripture for future reference Word / Phrase Search - quickly find all occurrences of a word or phraseVerse Chooser - Quick Tap allows easy verse navigationVerse Locking - compare the same verse in different texts simultaneouslyVerse History - tracks the last 10 verses visited for quick referenceDaily Bible Reading Schedules Supports Bible Maps (available at olivetree.com) Personalized Desktops - up to five different styles eBook locations saved, allowing you to continue reading where you left off Original Language Support Application supports all popular Palm OS devices including Palm Zire, Tungsten, Treo, Sony Clie, Tapwave, etc Bibles can be store in main memory or on a memory cardFree application updatesFree email supportTo install: Create a new folder on your desktop and unzip the NKJV.zip file to the new folder.
