Quick text encryption is just a click away with this simple utility. The Ncrypt TX interface is merely a text box with a few command buttons. Even with such a simple interface, the publisher includes both a well-written Help file and a three-step tutorial to make sure anyone can learn the app.

Operating Ncrypt TX is only a matter of opening a text file, selecting an encryption algorithm, entering a password, and pressing the Crypt button. The resulting text is easy to save to a file or copy into an e-mail. However, anyone who receives the encrypted text must have Ncrypt, the encryption algorithm, and the password to restore the original text.

Though it is simple to use, Ncrypt offers many options. The app has seven encryption algorithms, six hashing algorithms, and saves encrypted information as hex, Base64, Text, or Word files. It's simple to verify file integrity with hash strings, which adds just one additional step. Send the string separately and the recipient can verify the file with one easy command.

We found Ncrypt TX fast, efficient, and resource-friendly. While it isn't a must for every user, those who send basic encrypted text through e-mail will like this utility.
