From Online Media Technologies :NCTVideoStudio is a set of 14 ActiveX DLLs to process video data. With these controls you can convert video files between different formats; create new video files from a sequence of separate images; export video frames to separate image files; extract audio tracks from video files and save them to separate audio files; replace and mix audio tracks in video files; split and merge video files; broadcast video; capture video from tuners or cameras; record audio from any audio sources; play an audio track from a video file; play video files; apply various color adjustments, transformations, and photographic effects to video frames; add text, credits, and logos to video files; draw various graphical primitives within video frames, and more.
Supported video formats: AVI (DivX, XviD, MS MPEG4, Uncompressed, Cinepak, etc.); MPEG (MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 Video); WMV (Windows Media Video); RM (Real Networks Video, write only).
New supported format: QuickTime (read only).

Cons: 500 bucks is highway robbery for this. I am not even going to download this. I hope the $499.00 was an typing error and they REALLY bring down the price.

Pros: Absolutely nothing! I pick one star only because it wouldn't let me leave it blank.
Cons: Just finding the exe to start the program is a chore--it's hidden in a folder somewhere, and there are about 5 to choose from depending on what you want to do. You'd think they could have streamlined it better than that. Not to mention all the examples that you can't open. There COULD be a good program in there somewhere but I don't have the infinite patience needed to find it.
Don't make the same mistake I did--heed these bad reviews and don't waste your time on this useless program.
