"Poor software support"

Summary
I wouldn't buy this product because of the poor support I got from ver. 4.0. which I bought in 2007. I recently experienced a software problem in 2009 and the developers would not help me because it was too 'old'. A good package spoiled!

"No More Paper Workout Logs"

Summary
I have been using this software for about 5 weeks now and it has made tracking my workout results a whole lot easier than carrying a spiral notebook to the gym every time. I am back on the Body For Life Program for a second time (after gaining some of my weight back from the first time) and this software is set up perfectly for the BFL regimen. Integrates flawlessly with MST Food (tracking your daily caloric and nutrient intakes) and MST Polar Download (using a Polar heart rate monitor watch to track your fat burning and cardio workouts). I also purchased and recommend the desktop version of MST as you can upload your workouts from the PDA to your PC at home when you return from the gym/workout. BTW, I have an HP hx2495 Pocket PC and had no problems using the trial software before I decided to buy these 4 software packages. Highly recommended if you're trying to get more organized at the gym to help you stay motivated!

Summary
I have been tracking my workouts on a spreadsheet that I carry to the gym and it is a pain. Now that I have my iPAQ and installed this software, I am able to keep my meals and workouts in one easy to reach place and the workouts that the software has are great. And the program does everything for me. I am ordering the Poalar S series watch and cannot wait to interface this with my device. I recommend this to anyone who is serious about working out and wants to track their progress.

The width of choices is somehow overwhelming in the beginning, but once you get the hand of this application you won''t leave it. Pair it with "MySportTraining Food" and you shall calculate all your caloric input/output with a single platform. Great if you''re serious into fitness and diet.

I started using MySportTraining about 3 months ago for my jogging, and I always find it motivating to see how often I actually workout by looking at the calendar and graphics. Now that the days are getting shorter, I started going to the gym at night and this little gem has become even more useful. I can track everything I''m doing and the muscle chart has helped me prepare different workouts. Even experienced gym go-ers want to get a PDA to use it. This is a "must" for anyone working out.

Summary
I've been using this program, along with the "MySportTraining Food" add-on, and I am extremely happy. I've learned so much about my diet and exercise routines (or lack there-of) that I have become conscious of what I need to do in order to lose weight and get in better shape. By entering my workouts into the program, I can see how many calories I've burned. That, combined with the "Food" add-on utility, allows me to easily see whether I'm sticking to my diet and whether I'm consuming more or fewer calories than I'm expending in a day. The customer support is excellent, with response times less than 24 hours. Updates have been regular and not only fix the minor issues but add new features too. The muscle chart is awesome, and the best part is that it's possible to see what (weight lifting) exercises work a particular muscle. That makes it easy for the newby to target specific muscle groups. I love this program and use it every day. About the only other program that gets as much use on my PPC is my calendar.

Summary
Frequent travels make regular exercise difficult. MySportTraining along with the companion applications make it easier to maintain my exercise schedule and to meet my goals by tracking all information on my laptop and on my PDA. I used trial versions of several different products as will as the software delivered with my heart rate monitor. MySportTraining is by far the most robust and easy to use when traveling and when at home.

I have tried them all. I really like the simplicity and logic of the software. I bought all the modules including the desktop software. Synching is great and works flawlessly. I have emailed the developer several times and find him to be extremely responsive. Its great that he actually replies.
